Light Armor was created by Rick Toscano, a self-taught, New York City based designer, who found himself constantly inspired by the overwhelming beauty in nature and in the architecture of ancient civilizations around the world. With those aspects in mind, he set out to create hand-carved pieces of art that combined these aesthetics into powerful and significant works of wearable self-expression. Originally intended only for himself, immediately after his first piece was completed he was inundated with questions, queries and requests for his striking "armor" wherever he was - thus, Light Armor was forged.

Primal. Raw. Bold. Majestic. These are terms used to describe the vision that has shaped Light Armor and the style of those who wear it.
